9 rules for the maintenance of refrigerated centrifuges

2019/1/7 14:16:29      click :
Refrigerated centrifuge introduction: With refrigeration, generally at 4 degrees centrifugation, the lowest temperature that the machine can reach should be around -20 to -9 degrees. For large-capacity refrigerated centrifuges, the number of revolutions is generally not too high, generally at 4000-5000 rpm. In order to ensure its speed and efficiency, it should be well maintained and maintained.
The 9 rules for the maintenance of refrigerated centrifuges can be read as follows:
  1. The main power plug should be removed when the instrument is not used for a long time or when repairing. Otherwise, the instrument will be charged, especially when it is repaired.
  2. Refrigeration centrifuge In order to protect the refrigeration compressor, the interval between the instrument and the energization must be greater than 3 minutes, otherwise the compressor will be damaged.
  3. When the rotor is not in use, it should be taken out from the centrifugal chamber, cleaned and dried with a neutral detergent solution in time to prevent chemical corrosion and stored in a dry and ventilated place. It is not allowed to scrub the rotor with a non-neutral cleaner. It is not allowed to blow (dry) the dry rotor with electric hot air. A small amount of grease should be applied to the center hole of the rotor.
  4. When using the centrifuge rotor, be sure to set the rotor number correctly. If the rotor number is set incorrectly. This can cause the rotor to overspeed or fail to achieve the desired centrifugation. In particular, the use of speeding can cause a vicious accident in which the rotor bursts, and it must not be negligent.
  5. To ensure the freezing effect, when the ambient temperature is higher than 30 °C, the rotor and the centrifugal chamber should be pre-cooled, and the rotor should also reduce the speed by 15%.
  6. Centrifuge tubes should be updated regularly, and it is strictly forbidden to use centrifuge tubes that are near the rupture.
  7. Polypropylene (PP) centrifuge tubes (bottles) should not be used in contact with concentrated nitric acid (95%), aqua regia, toluene, benzene, gasoline, kerosene, ether, etc. Polycarbonate (PC) centrifuge tubes (bottles) cannot be combined with hydrofluoric acid, hydrochloric acid (30%, 50%), sulfuric acid (10%), nitric acid (95%), aqua regia, potassium hydroxide, magnesium hydroxide, Contact with ammonia hydroxide, aluminum fluoride, ammonium sulfide, ammonium acetate, ammonium carbonate, sodium nitrate, chromic acid (50%), toluene, benzene, gasoline, acetaldehyde, acetone, ethanol, isobutanol, diethyl ether, cresol, etc. use. Polyethylene (PE) centrifuge tubes (bottles) cannot be used in contact with sulfuric acid (50%, 75%), benzene, gasoline, kerosene, diethyl ether, etc.
  8. Before each use, please pay attention to check the rotor for corrosion points and fine cracks. It is forbidden to use the rotor with corrosion or crack, and use the rotor with more than the shelf life to ensure personal safety.
  9. After centrifugation, dry the water in the centrifuge chamber, and apply a little neutral grease to the cone of the motor shaft every week to prevent the shaft from rusting. If the centrifuge is not used for a long time, the rotor should be taken out, wiped clean and placed in a dry place to prevent rust.
The refrigerated centrifuge mainly extracts the required components from the liquid mixture. Depending on the density of each substance, after high-speed rotation, the dense liquid sinks to the bottom layer, and the liquid with a small density floats thereon, thus stratifying the liquid. Refine the pure things we need. It is used in many fields such as medicine and chemical industry.
