During centrifugation of a low-speed centrifuge, the particles move to a zone of the same density as itself. The sample can be distributed over the density liquid particles or evenly distributed in a density necessary gradient. After centrifugation, the sample particles reach their equilibrium point. Note: The separation of particles after equilibrium is completely determined by its density, regardless of time. At this time, changing the centrifugal speed can only change the relative position of the zone.
The low-speed centrifuge has a simple structure and can be divided into two types: small table and floor type. It is equipped with a drive motor, a governor, a timer, etc., and is easy to operate. The speed of a low-speed centrifuge generally does not exceed 4000 rpm, and the maximum speed of a desktop high-speed centrifuge can reach 18,000 rpm. Rotate the speed control handle smoothly and slowly (about 1~2 minutes) to the required speed. After the speed is stable, start timing. After centrifugation, slowly adjust the handle back to zero.
Low-speed centrifuge use rules:
1. When the centrifuge is in the pre-cooling state, the centrifuge cover must be closed. After the centrifuge is finished, the rotor should be placed on the test bench and the residual water in the cavity should be dried. The centrifuge cover is open.
2. Rotating head When pre-cooling, the rotating head cover can be placed on the platform of the centrifuge or placed on the test bench. Do not screw it on the rotating head, because once it is accidentally activated, the rotating head cover Will fly out, causing an accident!
3. After the screw cap is tightened, be sure to touch the gap between the rotor and the cover with your fingers. If there is a gap, unscrew and retighten until the gap is confirmed before the centrifuge can be started.
4. During the centrifugation process, the operator must not leave the centrifuge room. In case of abnormality, the operator cannot turn off the power (POWER), press STOP. Fill in the centrifuge usage record before pre-cooling.
5. Do not use fake and inferior centrifugation to make the tube, and do not use aging, deformed, cracked centrifuge tubes.
6. Can leave after the last routine safety check using a centrifuge on holidays and evenings.
7. In the event of machine failure during the use of low-speed centrifuge, please contact us in time for damage.
When installing a low-speed centrifuge, pay attention to the position of the installation. When installing, the lid of the centrifuge should be opened as much as possible. Use a small level to find the level on the spindle. Then adjust the screw of the adjusting bolt next to the four casters to find the level, especially The point to note is that one of the feet cannot be lost. For the centrifuge, in order to ensure the normal use in the later stage, the requirement for the ground is that the floor should be firm and not recessed, and the ground at the installation and fixing should be flat and firm.
