Do you know if the low-speed centrifuge is correctly opened?

The low-speed centrifuge has strong adaptability to materials. The appropriate filter media can be used to separate fine particles of the millimeter scale, and can also be used for dehydration of the articles, and the articles can be cleaned by the water washing tube. The artificial upper unloading type has simple structure, convenient installation, low cost, easy operation, and can maintain the grain shape of the product. The machine adopts elastic support structure, which can reduce the vibration caused by uneven load and the machine runs smoothly. The entire operating structure is concentrated in a closed casing to achieve sealing and avoid contamination of materials.
In the traditional centrifuge, the transmission belt is open, but a protective cover is arranged at the motor end, mainly from the safety point of view to improve the safety of use, but the pollution caused by the dust generated by the friction is not controlled. If it is not feasible to use in the clean area, the working area of ??the belt must be sealed to prevent the leakage of friction dust. It is suitable for washing, solid and liquid phase separation of suspension media containing solid phase particles, and also for solid-liquid phase separation of media containing crystalline solid phase. The low speed centrifuge separation technique is a new technology developed based on the state of the particles in a practical centrifugal environment. Particles of different densities, sizes or shapes settle in centrifugation at different speeds, so a generally spherically heterogeneous mixture can be separated by centrifugation. The benchtop low-speed centrifuge is used to further study biochemistry and separate large quantities of material. . For example, cells are collected, plasma is separated, DNA and protein molecules are separated from these pre-purified preparations, and viruses and large-scale Escherichia coli, strict cell components, nuclear protein microparticles, and the like are isolated.
The rotor of the low-speed centrifuge should be fixed at the exact position, the fixing screws should be tightened, and the accessories such as the rotor should be cracked and corroded, and the ground wire should be in contact. A separate socket must be used to ensure voltage stability; if the user voltage is unstable, a regulated power supply must be connected to avoid damage to the centrifuge; the desktop low-speed centrifuge should be placed on a solid, stable, level surface, leaving a certain space around the chassis. Keep well ventilated. After each use, open the lid, wipe off the condensate, and then dry naturally; before and after centrifugation, the rotor must be gently lowered or lifted vertically to avoid collision with the shaft and rotor. Centrifuge rotor, basket, casing, etc., after use, should be dried and placed separately.
When the glass tube is broken during the centrifugation of the low-speed centrifuge, the debris of the centrifuge chamber, casing, etc. should be removed, otherwise the centrifuge will be damaged. Regularly use a vacuum cleaner to remove dust from the heat sink on the rear of the centrifuge. If the brick of the low speed centrifuge is found to be corroded and cracked, it should be replaced immediately. The rotor, the basket and the casing must be regularly maintained with special glazing oil to avoid corrosion, and the shaft, the basket ear and other parts are lubricated with lubricating oil.
The good use of low-speed centrifuges can avoid many accidents, such as:
  Loading balance
In the design and manufacture of the centrifuge, the imbalance caused by the machining error of the rotor has been remedied by the dynamic balance test. However, all the centrifuges have the unbalanced amount of the sampled load, and try to find a good balance and then centrifuge. It is good for the life of the centrifuge.
Clean up the water in the centrifuge chamber
When the centrifuge is running, it uses refrigeration. Because of the moisture of the air, it is frosted in the centrifugal chamber, and after the shutdown, it is frosted into water. Most foreign low-speed large-capacity centrifuges have no drainage holes, and the water in the centrifugal chamber is more and more accumulated. At this point, the user should remove the rotor and clean up the accumulated water. When reinstalling the rotor, be sure to install it to avoid accidents.
Aluminum alloy can not be corroded
The centrifuge rotor is generally made of aluminum alloy. When it is corroded, the strength is reduced and it is easy to accident. The aluminum alloy is susceptible to liquid corrosion. After cleaning, it is blown dry with a hair dryer, or inverted for a period of time to confirm that it can be used. Some blood stations imported centrifuges, and there should be 6 plastic trays in 6 aluminum cups. The plastic tray should be placed in a blood bag to avoid direct placement in the aluminum cup. Pay attention to the test tube for cracks. If the test tube (especially the test tube used repeatedly) has cracks, it must not be used. Otherwise, the test tube rupture will cause the rotor to lose balance during the rotation, which may cause a vicious accident such as broken shaft.
  Broken shaft accident
The rotor is not placed well, or the sample imbalance is too large, and the centrifuge starts. Modern imported centrifuges have unbalanced protection, that is, when the unbalance amount exceeds a certain limit, the power should be automatically cut off to stop the centrifuge. However, under the above circumstances, it is already late, and a serious accident will occur. One of the malignant accidents is the broken shaft. Due to the sudden break of the shaft during high-speed rotation, the centrifugal rotor has no support, and the centrifugal machine is turned into a chaotic collision, which can make the centrifuge rotate the machine to a 270° angle. At this time, if there are staff or equipment next to it, it will cause accidents and deaths of the staff and damage to the equipment.
The user must select the physicochemical properties of the separation medium (media type, temperature, concentration, viscosity, slip of the solid phase, hardness of the filter cake, requirements for solid phase particles, and residual liquid phase in the solid phase filter residue allowed). The anti-corrosion and explosion-proof requirements in the production process and in the production environment, determine the type and type of the low-speed centrifuge to achieve the intended purpose and safety requirements.
