  The traditional centrifuge function is not perfect, especially in terms of speed and capacity. For example, the maximum speed of a common centrifuge is 5000 rpm, but the actual speed cannot reach 5000 rpm. Such a centrifuge is only suitable for ordinary centrifugation work, such as separating serum, concentrating urine, and the like. The precision centrifuge has many functions, accurate rotation speed and capacity, and is suitable for some experiments with high requirements on centrifuges, such as PCR experiments and separation of blood components (used in blood stations).
  Nowadays, the common operation is to set the working condition of the centrifuge with relative centrifugal force. Compared with the rotational speed, the centrifugal force can be accurately expressed relative to the centrifugal force. In daily use, the centrifugal condition should also be set according to the relative centrifugal force required for centrifugation. Some centrifuges can set the self-conversion relationship between the rotational speed and the relative centrifugal force according to the type of rotor used; for a centrifuge that can only set the rotational speed, the relative centrifugal force (RCF) calculation formula can be used to calculate and convert the relative centrifugal force into corresponding The speed of rotation must ultimately be calibrated by calibrating the speed of the centrifuge.
  The selection of the speed calibration point can also be selected linearly from the maximum speed of the centrifuge to be calibrated, taking into account the common speed and selecting as many as possible. This test method is comprehensive, more feasible, and effective if it is a newly installed centrifuge or only for the operation of the centrifuge. In fact, when the centrifuge is used in the laboratory, the position and use are relatively fixed, and the centrifugal condition setting is relatively fixed. In the calibration process, we use the set speed of the centrifuge as the calibration point (if the centrifuge needs to work at multiple speeds, we should select each speed as the calibration point as much as possible).

The same temperature calibration point should be selected to include at least the set temperature at which the centrifuge is operating. If the selection of the calibration point does not include the setting conditions when the centrifuge is used or does not perform the necessary corrections and confirmations, the validity of the calibration is greatly reduced and the calibration is not achieved.
  One of the different criteria for centrifuge grades, the centrifuge will give the maximum centrifugal force of the centrifuge at the factory. We all know that the radius of the rotor and the quality of the sample are constant during operation. Only the speed can be changed by control, so we tend to use the speed to describe a centrifuge.   The centrifuge should be selected according to the size and concentration of solid particles in the suspension (or emulsion), the difference in density between solid and liquid (or two liquids), the viscosity of the liquid, the characteristics of the filter residue (or sediment), and the requirements for separation. A comprehensive analysis was carried out to meet the requirements for the moisture content of the filter residue (sludge) and the clarity of the filtrate (separation liquid), and which type of centrifugal separator was initially selected. Then, according to the processing amount and the automation requirements for the operation, the type and specification of the centrifuge are determined, and finally verified by actual tests.
